Q. I am looking to provide some specific nutrient values (for example Trans Fat) for my recipe. However the recipe has some ingredients that don’t have this nutrient value (for example Trans Fat), so my final recipe has missing values. How do I handle that in my formula/recipe?
A.Yes to fill in the missing values you can open each of your ingredient and add the specific nutrient value. The manufacturer you source your ingredients from should be able to provide you with this type of info in 100 gram/per serving data.
Sometime our data also has some missing nutrients that happens if the source we compile data from may not have the data as well. In those cases we recommend that you use your custom Ingredient from your Food Vendor and enter a custom ingredient which then will be used in a recipe.
