In some cases, your user might be connecting to the database and server that you are not aware of.  If you hear complaints from the user that the data, they typed in is not in the database and server you are aware of then they are probably connecting to a different server or db.  To locate that you can use the debugging log that the ODBC creates.  Follow these steps below to locate the IP for that server.

  • Launch the sysWOW64 odbc as the picture shows below On the client machine C:\Windows\Systems\SysWOW64\odbcad32
  • Next click on system DSN and highlight Nutritionist Pro and hit configure

  • If you placed any TCP or IP for the new server on this ODBC remove that first so that it will connect to the first server it finds during the network broadcast.
  • Next Click on the Advanced tab and create a debug log
    1. To create the debug log file -- select debugging information in a log file as shown in the image.
    2. In the log file: here type the path of where you want to save the txt file and then name the txt file for example
      1. C:\Axxya Systems\Nutritionist Pro Network\debuglognpro.txt
  • Next go back to the user and have them launch Nutritionist Pro and it should create a debug log at the location you stated above.  Once you open that the IP of the server you are trying to find should be shown.
